3 Great Home Offices
Posted by Alex Greenan on 1st Nov 2013
Working from home can go one of two ways: it can be the gift of freedom and flexibility, or it can be a claustrophobic distraction-fest. In order to get the most out of of your home office, you need to create an interior which gets your creative juices flowing, whilst helping you to relax. We're always looking for contemporary interior ideas that make the home more relaxing, so this is right up our street. We've scoured the interwebs for inspiration, and these are our favourite 3 home office style:
Colourful and Personalised
This home office style really gives you the chance to express some of your own personality, making the space much easier to relax in whilst at work. The pop art prints are a far cry from a boring office cubicle, which should (hopefully) help you to be creative. Simple retro office furniture uses block colours to create a balanced and warming colour scheme.

Natural Solid Oak Living
This style is for those who want to their home office to be the epitome of calming, peaceful environments. The large floor to ceiling window provides a healthy dose of vitamin D, whilst the view of outdoors will help you feel less trapped inside. The solid oak desk, from Belgian brand, Ethnicraft, brings that sense of nature indoors with a beautifully natural matted finish. This natural look creates a lovely juxtaposition with your office gadgets.
The Industrial Man-Cave
This style has an awful lot going for it. The 'stripped back' look is very much in at the moment, and can allow you to make the most of an unused garage or loft space. A few old tin signs from ebay and some classic seating later, you're well on your way to a unique home office! This office also has the added benefit of feeling detached from the rest of the house, which can often help when it comes to avoiding distractions.
