A Blog on the Clock

When it comes to Home Accessories, I find it's quite difficult to define a trend. The individual pieces all just sort of fill up spaces, bring a bit of colour to the room, perhaps are also functional, or just simply pretty to the eye.

If there were a trend, it would be to awaken consciousness to bringing a story to your home. Decorating your home with individual pieces that may even not match very well, but they sure are charming and make a great conversation piece. It's an ongoing wish to find special and unique accessories. To the extend that more and more designers and manufacturers create their pieces inspired by styles that have been defined by their time which in a way brings along the feeling of history. One would then automatically presume that the item has a past and maybe even a story to tell.
