Football clubs use Feng Shui to improve performance

We are all about the Feng Shui here at 4 Living! We even wrote a short guide a little while back so you could get involved yourself. We have a strong connection with China, and Asia as a whole, so Feng Shui is an important part of our design philosophy. Given our fascination of Feng Shui, we were surprised to hear that some of its principles have been used thousands of miles from China, in Middlesborough!
Traditionally, football grounds will have one end reserved for away fans and the rest of the stadium for home fans. It is considered a definite advantage to be attacking the 'home end' so, if given the choice, why not decide to have home fans on both ends. That is exactly what Middlesborough have decided to, with the aim of creating a more hostile environment for away teams and more comfortable environment for the home team.
This may not be in line with our traditional Feng Shui views, but it is a great example of how Feng Shui is about more than moving furniture around. Being in control and at peace with your environment, as well as having the ability to influence it, is as much Feng Shui as the position of a coffee table!
You can see our guide short guide to Feng Shui here. We also pride ourselves in the appearance and quality of our Feng Shui inspired chinese style furniture.
