Imagine doing a bit of home refurbishment and coming across a full monopoly board, painted on to the hardwood floorboards. That's exactly what happened to Redditor 'Nnewel' when they moved into their new place! I don't think this is quite what they had in mind when they got into property development. (That joke was the product of over 4 minutes of hard brain thinking).

I feel like a Monopoly floor is something that you should mention to any prospective buyers when you're showing them the home. "Oh by the way, the floor is Monopoly, the master bedroom is en suite and the wardrobe is a portal to a mystical land"

Upon further examination, I have realised that one of the spaces has a silhouette of  a 'lady of the night', so maybe this isn't the best for a kids bedroom?

That aside, a board game floor is an incredibly cool idea, and not just for the kids! After a quick survey, we've decided that the board games we would like to see painted on the floor:

-Checkers (chess was too complicated)

-Snakes and Ladders

-Mario Bros. Make it happen, Nintendo!
