1-Large 'Ligna' Solid Oak Sideboard

The Grand Daddy of them all. Really large pieces of furniture often run the risk of being an eye-sore or overly dominating the landscape of the room. Ethnicraft's precision workmanship and and refined contemporary design enables the largest sideboard in our collection to maintain an understated and modern feel. The solid oak sideboard, with its beautiful smooth facade, creates a lovely juxtaposition with the brushed stainless steel frame, upon which the sideboard sits.

2-Conran 'Wave' Sideboard

As you'd expect from anything designed by Terrence Conran, the 'Wave' sideboard is the perfect blend between statement aesthetics and contemporary subtlety. The 'Wave' is one of the most eye-catching statement pieces in 4 Living's sideboard collection, however its balanced and symmetrical design enables it to fit seamlessly into almost any interior.

3-Large Contemporary Oriental Black Sideboard

The newest piece of 4 Living's contemporary oriental black lacquer collection is this stunning two metre sideboard. This extra large sideboard is just under half a metre wider than the previously largest sideboard in 4 living's collection. In real terms, that represents the conversion of single cupboard into double cupboards, which is significantly more functional storage space. The low profile of the sideboard prevents the black of the sideboard from being too visually dominant in a dining room or living room.

4-Solid Teak 'LF' Sideboard

Teak is not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about contemporary furniture. Ethnicraft have taken it upon themselves to give teak the attention and exposure it truly deserves. Unlike some artificial plastic or veneer finishes, solid teak looks even better on very large pieces. The smooth surfaces of the LF are the perfect way to show off the nourished, oily grain of the solid teak.

5-Bentley 'Oslo' Walnut Sideboard

The 'Oslo' sideboard is a throwback to the designs of the early 1960's, recreated to thrive in in the contemporary interior design of 2014. The Walnut finish gives the sideboard a really rich and warming feel to it, whilst the tin legs maintain a sense of space beneath the piece. As you can tell by the name, the 'Oslo' sideboard is heavily influenced by Scandinavian contemporary design. This sideboard, from Bentley Designs, will look fantastic in an understated contemporary interior. It's probably not the ideal piece for more traditional homes, as it runs the risk of looking like it's been there since the 1960's!
