The coolest clock you will ever, ever see

DISCLAIMER: Appreciate how good looking this clock is before trying to figure out how it works!
This geometrically perfect, ultra-conntemporary wall clock is the creation of designer, Nazar Sigaher. The clock is made of from two white metal frames which, through synchronised movement, combine to display the time. To create a seemingly simple design with such complexity and aesthetics is exactly what innovative contemporary design is about.
Clocks are so common that it's easy for their designs to become predictable and decidedly vanilla. In most people's eyes, clocks can either be analogue or digital, which is far from reality. Here's how Nazar Sigaher describes the piece:
The hour and minute hands of Frame have frames made of material identical to that of hour and minute hands. The clock constantly changes its form as the hour and minute hands keep moving and take a given form twice a day only. Such constant change of form created by moving hour and minute hands give this clock a peculiarity that identifies with the concept of time.
This clock is so damn attractive that, even if it were broken, it would look incredible. And, as is loosely touched upon above, it would still be right twice a day.
Unfortunately the clock isn't available for retail purchase. Whether a custom build from the designer would be possible, I don't know. Either way, I'm happy to have come across it and been inspired by it.
