In the latest feature length release from 4 Living Studios Ltd we see the protagonist, the Cambridge Sofa from SITS, star alongside a number of attractive and glamorous co-stars.
"Quintessentially British piece, coupled with the elegance and flavour of the orient" - 4 Living Interiors Blog
The latest 4 Living video shoot featured the Cambridge sofa as the back drop to a number of the coffee tables in 4 Living's collection. The wooden floors and patterned wallpaper all add to the typically British style displayed by the Cambridge sofa from SITS. Although many of the brands 4 Living stock are from mainland Europe, our location in the midst of Sussex's iconic South Downs has left us feeling as if we are neglecting our native interior styles.
British interior design is a little like British food: If executed properly it is the epitome of class, elegance and taste. If done using half measures or without high quality ingredients, you'll end up with tasteless, cheap flat-pack pie.
The first of four videos focusses only on the upholstered Cambridge sofa, in all its luxurious glory:
Shopping online can be a challenging and uncertain experience, which is exactly why we are constantly increasing our range of product videos. The comfort and luxury of a sofa can be so difficult to sum up in a photograph or short description. HD video gives us the ability to give the most dynamic and realistic representation possible, without seeing the product in the flesh. This approach is especially important with sofas and chairs, as they are required for physical comfort as well as pure aesthetics.
The Cambridge sofa is the perfect mix between design elegance and luxurious comfort. It's not the kind of sofa you fall back into, horizontally, after a tough day at the office. It is, however, the perfect sofa on which to sit with a cup of tea and a book. You know, British activities.
Ball Leg Coffee Tables
The two ball leg oriental coffee tables featured in the videos are the perfect oriental compliment to traditional British or Western styles. The turned legs and wooden grain could almost be an extension of the styles seen in traditional British pine of oak furniture. The slight over-sizing of the legs, combined with the thick and luxurious nature of the lacquer, creates the perfect contemporary oriental style.
The large bright surface area of the 'cream white' ball leg coffee table is the perfect way to brighten up a small room or emphasise natural light within a larger space. Conversely the black lacquer ball leg coffee table, with its subtle distressed edging is ideal for creating a warm, cosy and intimate interior; ideal for the autumn and winter months.
