VIDEO: Ethnicraft 'Double' Solid Oak Dining Table

The solid oak 'Double' dining table from Ethnicraft is one of the most striking contemporary statement pieces in our solid oak collection. The two chunky inset 'plinth' legs give the impression that the table is almost floating in mid-air. Although a only a simple design, the size and placement of the legs form an unconventional and instantly eye-catching design.

Oak is a very light, almost soft looking wood, which makes it perfect for such visually dominant, majestic designs. Even so, the sheer size of the design can of feel a little imposing, which is why we chose cream leather chairs to add a sense of comfort. The cream leather chairs actually have solid oak legs themselves, which completes a rather nice flow within the dining set as a whole.

In the background there, you can see the 'Double' sideboard. The sideboard, also made of 100% solid oak, is available in a number of sizes and provides an exceptional amount of storage. The dining room should be a relaxing room, so it's important to have a clutter-free space with smooth surfaces.
