VIDEO: Teak LF Chest

The reason we started doing product videos is so that people could get a feel for an item of furniture without necessarily having to see it in the flesh. Nothing can ever beat seeing a piece in the flesh, but geographical and time constraints often mean people can't make it down to our showroom! Much like people, some furniture looks better in photos than others. As teak is less common than most other wood types like oak, or our blacker lacquer oriental finish, we felt that it was important to include it in our video collection.

The LF chest is a really unique piece of contemporary furniture, which combines  a number of different take on modern wooden furniture. The LF range combines the kind of chunky solid wood designs, which have become increasingly popular over the last few years, with a slightly more refined, retro look. If you take into account that teak is a rather uncommon wood with which to make furniture, the whole piece is extremely unique.

Teak is ideal for storage furniture which you might use every single day, as it is tremendously durable. It's a tropical hard wood, which is why it's commonly used for outdoor furniture. The natural oils of teak make it very hard-wearing, as well as making giving it that nourished and oily appearance. Teak bedroom furniture requires very little maintenance. A little oil and a cloth every now and then will ensure that this piece lasts a lifetime.
